Another new guest announcement for the upcoming UFO location tour/convention, "Project Johnson"! Actor John Levene, who appeared in many episodes of Dr. Who but also very briefly played an Interceptor pilot in the UFO episode CLOSE UP, will be in attendance!

It was announced today on the Fanderson Facebook page that actor Gary Raymond (Col. Grey in the UFO episode THE MAN WHO CAME BACK) will be a guest at the upcoming "Project Johnson" UFO location tour/convention in the UK!

In the past week, uploaded 3 new or upgraded photos to Publicity Photos (Lt. Ellis/Harrington, Sky One, Capt. Carlin). Newest uploads are always at the beginning of the gallery!

A prototype of Round 2's upcoming 1/35th scale SHADO Mobile kit was on display this week at the New York Toy fair!

UFO is now streaming on the American streaming service Tubi!  (and no longer available on the Roku Channel)

Here's a strange one... the "UFO" TV series is mentioned in the Epstein files! (As at one point in time there were plans to remake the TV series into a movie). See for example this document!

UFO is now again available for HD streaming on The Roku Channel!  These are based on the (very old) ITV HD masters... not quite as good as the Imprint Blu-rays, but (in my opinion) better than the Network Blu-rays.

The new "standard edition" version of the Imprint Television UFO Blu-ray is now available!  Here is a photo of it next to the previous "limited edition" version.

"UFOria 3 part 2" will be in May 2026 with Ayshea Brough as the guest. Also known as "Project Johnson", as her character was Lt Ayshea Johnson.  More information on this page!

UPDATE!  IMDB was incorrectly reporting that Deborah Grant (Linda Simmons in the UFO episode THE PSYCHOBOMBS) had passed away. This is not true (confirmed by two sources), and this has now been corrected on IMDB.

Today is the 55th anniversary of the first UK broadcast of UFO! (although I'm told that it aired in Canada two days prior)

Some sad news - actor Stanley McGeagh, who played a SHADO security guard in the UFO episodes "E.S.P." and "Mindbender" has passed away, at age 85.

There is an upcoming UFO 55th Anniversary Celebration and Location Tour at the end of October near London called "Project Ford", with in-person special guest Keith Alexander!

It's now been 20 years since UFO stars Ed Bishop and Michael Billington passed away within a week of each other. Ed Bishop passed away on June 8, 2005 and Michael Billington passed away on June 3, 2005.

Also, please note that my comment earlier about the CONFETTI CHECK A-OK opening sequence still being there only applies for when you are ripping an episode from disc to a file. On a regular Blu-ray player, it skips over that (as it should).

OK, I've received my new Imprint UFO Blu-ray set! With regard to the new grading/fixes, I would say that this is mostly the same as the Japan/German Blu-rays, in that it does not have the excessive noise reduction or brightness or washed out colors that the UK set had. 18 of the episodes appear to be the same as the Japan/German set, while 8 of the episodes have some fixes. These fixes include things like corrected day-for-night scenes (so things look like night now instead of day), correcting bland/washed out/tinted colors, fixing the 16:9 aspect ratio error on ORDEAL, and adding sepia tint for THE LONG SLEEP. Oddly they did not remove the standard opening credits that should not be part of CONFETTI CHECK A-OK.

The updated episodes (compared to the Japan Blu-ray) are FLIGHT PATH, ORDEAL, THE CAT WITH TEN LIVES, THE SOUND OF SILENCE, THE PSYCHOBOMBS, REFLECTIONS IN THE WATER, TIMELASH, and THE LONG SLEEP.

If you are in the USA, the new Imprint UFO Blu-ray set is now in-stock at Orbit DVD! (now out of stock, but presumably will be back in stock at some point, and that's the cheapest price I've seen in the USA)

The music video for UFO from the Power Themes 90 album has now been redone in high definition!

I've seen some reports of Imprint UFO Blu-ray sets being delivered to customers in Australia, otherwise these are still in transit or haven't yet shipped. Initial comments indicate the picture quality is great and people are happy with the set!

It looks like my copy won't be arriving until April 30th, and then I can start updating my page on this.

In the USA, the free streaming service "Pluto TV" now has UFO available... although I'm only seeing 18 of the 26 episodes available!

Some sad news - Jean Marsh, who played Janna Wade in the UFO episode "Exposed", has passed away at age 90.
