Commander Ed Straker
The head of SHADO, Ed Straker has been involved with every aspect of its creation
since the beginning. Formerly a Colonel in the United States Air Force, his dedication
and long hours on the job during SHADO's creation cost him his marriage. Demanding
of his people, but also loyal to them. Bases many of his decisions on computer predictions
& logic, and is good at guessing the Aliens next move. Rarely lets people get
close to him, and can come across as cold & distant.
