1973 Ed Bishop Toy Store appearance: Here is a photo of Ed Bishop in 1973, who, dressed like Commander Straker, made an appearance in a Los Angeles toy store to promote the UFO Dinky toys (photo taken by Rita Dyan, scan contributed by Dave McCoy)

1988 UFORIA Convention: On 18 June 1988, Fanderson held the first convention devoted to UFO, in London. Here are some photos taken at the convention (most photos courtesy of Katie Bleathman, article transcriptions Danielle Plamondon):
1989 UFORIA 2 Convention: On 8-10 September 1989, Fanderson held its second convention devoted to UFO in Manchester UK, called "UFORIA 2".   Here are some photos taken by Angelo Finamore at the convention (courtesy Angelo Finamore): 
Fanderson 91 Convention: On 26-27 October 1991, Fanderson held the "Fanderson 91" convention in Leeds.   Here are some photos taken at the convention (courtesy Claire Roberts): 
1992 Project Straker Convention Booklet, etc: On 30-31 May 1992, Fanderson held a convention in Bradford UK called "Project Straker". The convention booklet was 24 pages long and 210 x 295 mm in size. It contained an Introduction, an article on the "Making of UFO", the original story outlines for the episodes "Computer Affair" and "Flight Path", cast bios for Ed Bishop, George Sewell, Michael Billington, Dolores Mantez, Vladek Sheybal, and credits listings for UFO plus Doppleganger. It also contained many B&W photos from UFO, and a few from Doppleganger. Here are some pictures (from Angelo Finamore's UFO Collection):

1996 Fanderson Gold Convention: In August 1996 the Gerry Anderson fan club FANDERSON held a convention which featured a few guests & display items of interest to UFO fans. Here are some photos contributed by attendees:

2007 Fanderson "HD21" one-day event: In September 2007, Fanderson held a one-day event at Pinewood Studios, featuring HDTV showings of Gerry Anderson programs, plus studio tours covering points of interest to UFO and Space:1999 fans.
