Straker reluctantly gives Catherine another dose of the Alien syrum, and Catherine is able to give precise directions to the farmhouse. When Straker and Foster arrive, the bomb has already been activated and Tim mysteriously dies and instantly decomposes. The bomb is disposed by digging it up and launching it into space. Returning to the hospital, Straker discovers that Tim's extra years of life were somehow taken from Catherine, who has now died of old age. back
